A great website on Paperclay by Graham Hay.

This paperclay is NOT the kid’s paper clay we find in crafts stores. It is any clay body with processed cellulose fibre added to it. If you want to change your claywork after it has dried or fix broken clay pieces, then use paperclay! It is a very forgiving material that allows for dry to dry and dry to soft joints. The work on the right is by Graham. View more examples at his site. You can buy paperclay from suppliers or make your own. See instructions here.
